Syllabus experiments: Inspired by Ilya Ziblat Shay’s research into the relationship between the score and improvisation, I designed a syllabus for a course on literary theory that gave graduate students control over many elements of the course content traditionally set by the teacher in advance. You can download the syllabus from google drive. Teaching this course was invigorating, and the students enjoyed the experiment.

Life Writing: I’ve always taught life writing to undergraduates as a hybrid course involving critical and creative writing, engagement with concepts and practice. Here’s a sample syllabus from my time at Utrecht University.
